Applicable Scope

Carbon steel smelting is usually in the converter, open hearth furnace. General converter smelting ordinary carbon steel, and can be a variety of high quality steel smelting furnace. BOF steelmaking technology develops very fast, there is a tendency to replace the open hearth. The molten steel is injected into the ingot mould and various ingots are obtained. After forging or rolling, the ingot is processed into steel plate, steel strip, steel bar and section steel with various section shapes. Carbon steels are generally used directly in hot rolling. When used in manufacturing tools and various machine parts, heat treatment should be carried out according to the use requirements; as for steel castings, most of them need heat treatment.
